Hi Sharon, thank you for the quick reply and for the suggestion.

We have multiple methods here for water effects on architectural models and we had vacuum-formed textured sheets before for water effects, but if the A-81 textured acrylic is available all we had to do is just cut it into the shapes we need especially for large-sized site model. That way we can save a step :)

Could you make a silicone mold from one side of the new material and cast your own out of water clear (or tinted)urethane?

Hi APMMers,

Our model shop was looking into getting some Plaskolite A-81 textured acrylic to use for water effect on some architectural models, unfortunately we were told by Plaskolite that they have discontinued that product line.

Plaskolite still carries the Adobe and P-32 textured acrylic that is similar, but they are textured on both surfaces while we are looking for one side textured and smooth on the other side.

Would appreciate it if anyone knows of something similar that we can get.
