What you will be doing:
Your goal in this role is to implement methodologies, practices, and assignments that support strategies of Product Development and Launch through the application of Models: existing and emerging material and capabilities; applying prototyping with a Systems Thinking approach. You will promote and manage relationships to create environments that cultivate team collaboration across functions.
With limited guidance, you can take a job request, work with the customer to capture the information, and fulfill that request from start to finish. This could include outsourcing purchasing of materials or using other resources in the shop.
Who you are:
Variety is exciting to you: both in equipment and teams. You can use processes and materials to demonstrate new insights and prove feasibility. You enjoy communicating and prototyping detailed technical information to Engineering, Design, Testing, and Quality.
You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with different functions.
Qualifications:
• BS or BA in Model Making OR journeyman card/apprenticeship
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience (8-10 for senior level)
