Hi Sharad, I spoke with a manufacturer of spray booths at the AWFS (Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers) trade show in Atlanta a few years back about water curtain filtration vs air filters. The biggest advantages to water are that it does not clog up so you have constant airflow and you can clean it out without stopping production. You do need to treat the water with chemicals and maintain it that way, kind of like a pool. You also now have a water pump to maintain in addition to the exhaust fan. My takeaway from the conversation was that water curtain filtration is geared toward higher production levels like an assembly line. |
