We are seeking a Prototype Developer to join our Consumer Products Business in Neenah, WI supporting various professional and retail projects within Georgia Pacific.

Prototype Developer
Working with a variety of teams supporting Georgia Pacific Consumer Products, you will be responsible for working with the team to provide a range of prototyping solutions that fit within the parameters provided using a variety of tools and processes. This position will require the ideal candidate to execute prototyping principles, best practices and procedures to assist with taking those solutions to a physical state that can then be used by the customer.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
· Executes the design and fabrication of breadboards, fixtures, and prototypes to various degrees of functionality and aesthetics using SolidWorks and traditional physical prototyping methods
· Generate various ideas and concepts that provide creative solutions to the problem(s) that our customers will bring to you.
· Work directly with designers, engineers, and non-technical resources to understand the needs and challenges they are facing
· Leverage internal rapid prototyping capabilities to expedite solutions to customer needs
· Work with various prototyping mediums such as wood, plastic, metal, urethanes, foams, etc

What You Will Need:
· Associates degree in an art or technical program
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and/or prototyping
· Experience managing multiple projects
· Experience using SolidWorks as your primary design tool
· Experience creating physical prototypes using general shop tools such as saws, lathes, routers, drill presses, etc.

What Will Put You Ahead?
· Experience with the rapid prototyping process available in the marketplace and their application within the development of a project
· Plastic part design
· CNC programming and machining
