Model Maker/Molding Specialist
As a Model Maker/Molding Specialist, you will be working with the rest of our production team to make our customers’ designs come to life. Each day you will work on different products for different customers. You will create various silicone molds, cast parts, and perform other model making tasks as you develop your skills as a model making expert.

As a Model Maker/Molding Specialist, you’ll be bringing 3D computer files into tangible parts. You will:
 Design and construct silicone molds and cast a variety of urethane parts
 Finish and prepare parts for shipment
 Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
 Utilizing established finishing techniques for master patterns (using automotive grade paints and finishes) to ensure project specifications are met.

To be considered for our Model Maker/Molding Specialist position, you will need the following:
 Education – Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Model Making or a related field
 Availability – The ability to work additional hours on nights and weekends when necessary as workload demands
 Skills – Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet challenging deadlines with minimal supervision. Applicants must also have attention to detail, and good communication skills.
 Physical Fitness – Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs, high dexterity.
 Helpful Experience – Though not required, previous experience with silicone molding, 3D printing, CAD software, reading and interpreting technical drawings, is preferred (particularly in prototyping and low-volume production settings).
